Historic St. Mark's Catholic Church in the heart of Cleveland's West Park neighborhood contacted us with a simple request: Create a a way for parishioners to enter the church and students to go to class and remain dry. They also needed access from a designated vehicle drop-off area.

We designed a 40' long entranceway awning to cover the main walkway and added a 10' integrated , secondary awning to lead to the parking lot. Also, we were asked if we could find a way to cover an additional 5' span span leading to a basement door. PROBLEM SOLVED!

We suggested featuring the St. Marks crest on the awning which we digitally printed on vinyl with a U.V. protected topcoat and applied it to the parking lot facing front of the entranceway to the church and school.

The frame was manufactured to allow the addition of windbreak side panels at a future date.

Materials Used:

  • Material: 9.5 ounce per square yard solution dyed from acrylic Sunbrella™
  • Color: Burgundy
  • Frame: Welded 1" x 1" and 1" x 2" 6063T extruded aluminum tubing.
